About Me

Hello future students!

My name is Renata, and I am a piano teacher. As a musician, I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to study music by mastering a musical instrument. In addition to acquiring lifelong musical skills, learning and understanding music opens an extra dimension to this world, giving us another reason to enjoy and appreciate our existence. This is why I am dedicated to delivering quality music education by fostering not only musical skills but also the understanding, appreciation, and love for the art of piano playing.

I was introduced to piano music for the first time when I was 7 years old. I was attending ballet classes where the musical accompaniment was provided by a live pianist who played pieces of various rhythms and harmonies. I'm sure I wasn't the best dance student, as my attention was constantly captured by cascading arpeggios and invigorating passages. I fell in love with the piano and asked my mom to take me to a music school to learn this incredible art. The next seven years of my life were devoted to piano lessons, music theory, solfeggio, choir, and music history classes. After graduating from high school, I enrolled in the College of Music Arts in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, graduated with honors, and obtained my Bachelor's degree in piano teaching and performance.

Now, I teach piano from my home in Frisco and welcome students of all ages and levels to share my love and passion for piano playing. In my teaching, I combine the best traditions of the Russian Piano School, a varied repertoire, and my unique approach to each student. This results in the mastery of effective playing skills, comprehensive knowledge of music theory, and a deep understanding of the underlying aspects of musical expression in diverse music styles, from classical to modern.
